Steel, Minerals, Coal, Materials Handling, Mining, Building works and misc. industrial projects.
6. Substation Automation, SCADA and telecommunication systems for large substations.
7. Rural Electrification projects - 33kV, 11kV Overhead lines, Dist. Substations, 400V distribution to residential, commercial loads, smart metering.
Satcon was established in the year 2004. At present it is providing Design & Engineering services in various projects in India, Afghanistan, Middle East and Africa. In many of these projects, Satcon is providing services as Contractor's Consultant which requires high level of engineering skill in order to optimize equipment and materials. Satcon follows well established Engineering Design norms laid down in International and national standards for day to day engineering services.
We can provide Project management, monitoring, progress review and supervision of erection, testing and commissioning by deputing senior engineers at site. We also provide Contour survey, preparation of topographical contour survey drawings using DGPS / TOTAL STATION for substation plots and overhead line routes, Soil resistivity measurements using four Wenner method, Geotechnical investigation at site for Indian Projects.
Detail Engineering and Project Management of Mechanical, Civil & Structural portions of Integrated Steel & Power Plants can be taken up with support from eligible like minded Consultants.

Satyaki Mukherjee, Proprietor : Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Jadavpur University), Fellow of Inst. of Engineers (FIE), MIEEE, Professional Engineer, Chartered Engineer, Solar Chartered Engineer – (Experience – 36 years in Power generation, EHV transmission and distribution substations, Industrial power distribution Projects)
The Proprietor of SATCON is an Electrical Engineer from Jadavpur University, Kolkata in 1989. He has worked in Development Consultants Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata (DCPL), a well-known transnational Consultancy Company for 11 years, in Kuljian Corporation, Philadelphia and in Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC)-East, KSA (Through Dar Al Riyadh Consultants) for 4 years. He started SATCON in Kolkata in the year 2004 after his return from KSA. He has experience in providing Consultancy services in India, USA, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Nepal, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Sierra Leone, Bhutan, Tanzania, Namibia and Sudan in last 34 years. He remains involved in each and every engineering activity in order to guarantee proper quality before submission to Clients.

1. One (1) license of ETAP 20.0.2 for system study calculations like load flow study, fault level studies, protection coordination, equipment sizing and motor starting study.
2. Six (6) licenses of Autocad 2020/2018/2016/2013/2012 for preparation of electrical, civil and structural layout and detail engineering drawings.
3. Two (2) licenses of Autocad Electrical 2009 for automated preparation of GA, wiring, schematic, terminal plant drawings of control & relay panels and MV/LV switchgear panels.
4. One (1) license of Staad Pro Connect edition for civil and structural analysis and design calculations.
5. One (1) license of Staad Foundation for sub structure design and analysis.
6. One (1) license of PLS CADD (lite) for Overhead line design.
Manpower
Three (3) Sr. Electrical Engineers, Three (3) Electrical design engineers, Three (3) senior Civil/Structural Engineers, One diploma electrical engineer, Three (3) drafting personnel. Solar Chartered Engineer
Satcon regularly participates in Solar and Wind power generation and power evacuation projects. The following are the key features of services provided :
1. Design and engineering of the power pooling system at 11kV or 33kV depending on quantum of power generated.
2. Design and engineering of the Pooling switchgear.
3. Design and engineering of the EHV switchyard (132kV or 220kV or 400kV) to evacuate the power to the nearest grid substation.
4. Design and engineering of the EHV transmission line for interconnection with the Grid substation.
5. Design and engineering of the HV line bay extensions at the Grid substation for the interconnection of the Solar or Wind power generation facility.
6. Engineering studies to check grid code requirements for the interconnection of solar or wind power plants with the national grid
